It's just so beautiful. Only 1700 miles though, which is a shame in a way. Unless they were put 1/4th at a time. Then it was doing what it was meant to do. Would die to see to GNX vs Countach drag race. It'd be close!

Honestly, I don't know what possessed Buick to stop making this car. They should've become America's answer to AMG, instead of tacky classless mediocrity-mobiles for those with an reverse mid-life crisis.

Every time I see a picture of these I am reminded of my dad telling me he thought about buying one when they were new. But he was afraid of getting to many speeding tickets. WHAT THE HELL DAD. He drives a Cobalt now....sigh

My GNX story:

I had to make a service call to a dealership. I was done with what I had to do and had time on my hands before catching a flight out. A salesman ask "have you driven one of these yet?" Ummm-not yet. "Come on-let go for a ride!" He tossed me the keys + jumped in shotgun. The first couple of miles was stop + go— couldn't tell anything except it was a typical GM product. The salesman said "take a left here." It was a country road with no traffic. I come to a stop sign-he goes "Come on-get on it!" I stand on the brake + give it gas to load the converter. I plan on trying to launch it as fast as I can drag style-not just smoke the tires. I'm about 1/4 throttle + get off the brake and roll in the gas. It jump forward -I get about 100ft out before I'm full throttle + the tires go up in smoke. Oops! Sorry! "Haha -you kidding? That 75 miles on the odometer? Its probably only 10 miles and the rest wheelspin!"

I've always said if I owned one of these or a Yamaha V-Max, I'd just mail my liscense to save the later paperwork....
